We often trim our dog's coats down for their comfort as we live in the country with lots of trees and other things that can mat and tangle coats, so many of the pictures of our parents show their 'trimmed down' coats. We do try and get a few pictures of their best coats also so that explains why some pictures have shorter coats than others.
A note on sizes: We have found some many breeders out there that are not being truthful about weights and sizes of their adults, so for this reason and so you have piece of mind on this issue, we will certify any of our dogs weights and heights with our vet...just ask and we will take care of this.
We regularly weigh all of our dogs and update weights so we stay current on our website.
To be clear, the ideal weight of a healthy full grown young adult is what we consider their prime, ideal weight and this is what will be posted on our site when they have reached their full grown weight at around 18-24 months of age or for females before their first breeding...then as time goes often you will see us adjust those weights as some dogs will increase weight because of giving birth, aging, seasons, overeating, etc....just like people weight flucuates...we still consider their young adult weight as their prime weight but still adjust as they change so rest assured all of our dogs will have true weights and heights and we are happy to certify this.
